Bangkok

M.V. Gowanbank

Bangkok was an infrequent call for Bank Line ships – sometimes to load rice, but in 1977 the GOWANBANK loaded a full cargo of Tapioca in Bangkok for the Continent.

Accounts of life in the Bank Line are detailed in the book, ” Merchant Navy Apprentice 1951 – 1955″
