Teesbank. Sister of Ettrickbank. Torpedoed by U128 in mid-atlantic 5.12.42

TEESBANK MV was a British Cargo Motor vessel built in 1937 and of 5,136 tons. On the 5th December 1942 when on route from Port Said & Port Elizabeth for Demerara in ballast she was torpedoed by U-128 and sunk. Captain take Pow and 1 crew lost from a total crew of 62.
